Thurles MD Grant Schemes 2026 Contributions to Sporting Clubs- Youth Involvement/Female Participation & Contributions to Residents Associations for Estate Enhancement Works
The 1st ever health and well-being festival took place at the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) Clonmel campus on Thursday Sept 26th. Over 500 people took part in this event where participants were encouraged to get arty and crafty with local artists. Patrick Davoren - manager of the Regional Sports Hub said that "organisers wanted to increase community awareness of the TUS University/Sports Hub and highlight the importance of social inclusion". Several- local schools attended on the day and Patrick is delighted that more and more people are coming to use the Sports Hub/track/playground.
